At full capacity also the Maritime MRV

The European Union, with the EU Regulation 2015/757, has launched a system to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from marine transport. In particular, from January 1st 2018, ships (passengers/cargo) of more than 5,000 tonnes gross tonnage, that pass, even only once a year, in an EU port, are obliged to monitor and communicate their verified annual emissions. The 30th of April will then be the deadline for submitting the first monitoring report for each ship, while by the 30th of June 2019 each ship should have a compliance document with Reg. 2015/757.
