{"id":12400,"date":"2018-02-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-01-31T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aequilibria.nooostaging.com\/the-new-programme-operator-carbon-footprint-italy-was-born\/"},"modified":"2026-09-22T13:29:02","modified_gmt":"2026-09-22T11:29:02","slug":"the-new-programme-operator-carbon-footprint-italy-was-born","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aequilibria.com\/en\/the-new-programme-operator-carbon-footprint-italy-was-born\/","title":{"rendered":"The new Programme Operator Carbon Footprint Italy was born"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Italian Programme Operator of Carbon Management was launched these days, dedicated to the quantification of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of products and organisations and their reductions.<\/p>\n<p>Participation in the <em>Carbon Footprint Italy<\/em> (CFI) program is open to all organisations in possession of third-party certification, concerning the quantification of their GHG emissions, at the product (UNI EN ISO\/TS 14067) and organisation (UNI EN ISO 14064-1) level. There is also a Carbon Reduction section, specifically dedicated to the reduction of GHG emissions gained as a result of mitigation measures.<\/p>\n<p>The release of the CFI label to registered companies and products thus allows to disclose their GHG emission or reduction values, thus giving the possibility to communicate in a simple, rapid and effective manner the outcome of their Carbon Management actions.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the CFI program is one of the sponsors of the ISO\/TC 207\/SC7\/WG8, working group on the revision of the ISO 14067 standard on Carbon Footprint of Product, which is being held this week in Milan.<\/p>\n<p>For all information on the <em>Carbon Footprint Italy<\/em> program, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carbonfootprintitaly.it\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dedicated website<\/a> is online.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Italian Programme Operator of Carbon Management was launched these days, dedicated to the quantification of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of products and organisations and their reductions.
