Begins today in Seoul, South Korea, the ISO/TC 207 Plenary Meeting, Technical Committee dedicated to voluntary environmental management standardisation.
The activities, divided into dozens of Working Groups (WG), belonging to the different thematic Sub-Committee (SC), will continue until Saturday, September 3rd.
Strongly growing are the activities in the SC7, area dedicated to greenhouse gas management and related activities, that accounts 6 active WGs and 4 new projects under discussion.
The WG8, in charge of ISO/TS 14067 revision (Carbon Footprint of product) and coordinated by Daniele Pernigotti, is at its second meeting. 85 the expert enrolled in the WG8, representing 33 countries (55% from developing countries). 300 comments need to be addressed and solved, related to the first draft of the regulation (WD1).
