On September 8th, the standard UNI 11646:2016 "Greenhouse gases - specification for the realization of a national system to manage the carbon credits voluntary market, deriving from GHG emission reduction or enhancement removal projects" has been published.
The document is the result of an extensive work done within the GL15, the UNI Working Group dedicated to climate change, with the goal of helping to bring order in the carbon offset market. The GL 15 convener, Daniele Pernigotti, would like to thank the large stakeholder representation for their involvement and the essential competent contribution in building a document of great importance for the Italian reality.
