This is an opportunity to think about the significance of the "renewed" centrality of bicycle. In the past it was a symbol of economic backwardness, when the Chinese roads invaded by bicycle represented a signal of underdevelopment.
Today the opposite is true. The Bicycle has space in most developed and sustainable countries. Those who invest in parallel on renewable energy and are determined to accelerate the exit from the fossil fuel economy.
Side effects are the increased livability of streets and towns and the greater healthiness of the citizens, that, using the bicycle, improve their overall health.
We just need to choose between the streets of Copenhagen and those of New Delhi...
