Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and the Exxon case

In the US, general attorney Schneiderman continues his investigations started in November 2015 against Exxon, accused of deceiving his shareholders about the financial risk the company was facing with climate change. Schneiderman began his investigations in 2015, after closing the plea bargain with another fossil-based giant, Peabody Coal, with the same charge. Investigations can last for many months, if not years, just to analyse the over 3 million internal documents that Exxon has already been forced to deliver. Schneiderman reiterates to AP that he does not know if he will call to depose Tillerson, who used the pseudonym Wayne Tracker in the emails, but he claims he has the full right to do so.
