One step forward for the ISO standard regarding the accreditation of environmental information

The ISO working group responsible for the revision of ISO 14065 has met last week in Seoul, Korea.

The standard specifies the requirements for validation and verification of GHG emissions, its purpose has been extended to validation and verification of all environmental information.

The standard has undergone a significant revision in order to include the contents of the new standard ISO 17029, of higher level, and has arrived at the FDIS final stage, after the meeting that took place in Washington last month.

Accredia actively participates in these groups with Carla Sanz and Daniele Pernigotti.

The content of the new ISO 14065, that has reached the CD3 level, will also have direct repercussions on future ETS verification activities, as well as in many other environmental sectors.
