The video contest “CLOSE THE TAP” has come to an end: here are the winners

The first edition of the video contest “Close the Tap“, organized by Aequilibria to promote awareness about climate change, closed at the end of February.

The participation in the initiative has been international, collecting subscriptions both in Italy and abroad: almost half of the participants, in fact, come from other countries.

The competition focused on two themes: “One for all and all for one”, to foster collective actions to awaken political consciousness, and “We eat Climate Change”, to shed light on the strong impact our food has on the environment. Although videos were presented for both categories, interest shifted more toward the theme of collective mobilization.

The three judges, along with the Aequilibria Staff, carefully evaluated the entries and then awarded the following prizes:

1^st Prize – Live Action Video: “Food for Thought” – Video by David Augustin

2^nd Prize – Live Action Video: “Quando Venezia si poteva ancora visitare” – Video by Marco Ginelli

Special Jury Prize: “Organise.Earth” – Video by Letizia Biscarini

For the Animated Video category, no video was selected as the winner. The jury considered the submitted works insufficient with respect to the prefixed criteria, both for the quality of the animations and the lack of communicative effectiveness.
