Close the Tap
Close the Tap is an international video competition, free to enter and open to everyone, dedicated to climate change.
Greenhouse gas emissions continue to build up, like water in a bath that is rising to the brim. Turning off the tap means stopping that flow before it is too late.
Close the Tap takes this image as its starting point to challenge filmmakers, students and professionals from around the world to translate it into a visual narrative:
short films capable of informing, inspiring and spurring action, because cinema remains one of the most effective ways of getting a message across where words alone are not enough.
The competition is organised by Aequilibria, which coordinates the jury—comprising experts in carbon management, video production and film directing—and oversees the selection of the finalists.
