The new book by Daniele Pernigotti comes out today: ISO 14001 and Green Economy, UNI Editions
The 2015 edition of ISO 14001 introduces an important change of a strategic nature for the Environmental Management Systems (EMS). However, the recent completion of the transition to the new standard has shown that not all organizations have fully understood its scope, sometimes limiting themselves to introducing some formal changes in system procedures and failing to fully involve company management in this transition phase.
And it is precisely to the top management of the company that this book is addressed to illustrate how the ISO 14001 can support them to guide companies towards the Green economy, a concept that can no longer be seen as a hypothetical utopia, but as a crucial element for every successful company.
